Returns Policy

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for shopping with Le Château Collection, your satisfaction is important to us which is why all our products undergo stringent quality checks to ensure you receive the highest quality products.

1. Your right to a repair, replacement or refund of the item purchase price
1.1 You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for items purchased if the item is:

a) faulty due to manufacturing defect,
b) have been wrongly described,
c) different from a sample shown to you, or
d) not fit for purpose (ie. the item does not do what it is suppose to).
    For example, the item you have purchases was suppose to be a pair of pants bu they turned out to be a

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.

1.2 Faulty products must be sent to our suppliers for assessment, this may take up to 6 weeks. If the item is deemed faulty, we reserve the right (at our discretion) to offer a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
1.3 The options to repair, replace or refund is determined on a case-by-case basis and as permitted under Australian Consumer Law, we reserve the right to choose the remedy provided.
1.4 To initiate this process for online orders please complete our online Returns Form within 14 days of purchase date. Once submitted a Customer Care representative will contact you within 3 working days. Note: we are unable to facilitate online returns in store.

2. Le Château Collection ‘Change of Mind Policy’
2.1 Le Château Collection is not legally obliged to provide refunds of the purchased price or offer exchanges/credit notes simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.
2.2 However, under our ‘Change of Mind Policy’, if you simply change your mind about a purchase we do offer exchanges or credit notes to the value equivalent to the purchase price (ie. excluding postage) for most items provided that:

a) you return the item within 14 days from the date of purchase; and
b) the item is in its original condition, unworn, unwashed with all tickets & labels attached; and
c) you provide an original Le Château Collection receipt as proof of purchase; and
d) the item is full priced (we are unable to offer change of mind returns (exchanges or credit notes) on sale items).

2.3 To protect your health and the health of others, our ‘Change of Mind Policy’ does NOT apply under any circumstances to the following items:
a) swimwear,
b) underwear,
c) cosmetics,
d) earrings,
e) lingerie & hosiery.

2.4 Due to the delicate nature of these items, we are unable to offer change of mind returns (exchanges or credit notes) on accessories, handbags, eveningwear or heavily beaded items. Please note: on heavily beaded items some loss of beading should be regarded as normal. For these items we recommend that you try them on and that you check carefully prior to completing your purchase. 
2.5 To request a Change of Mind exchange or credit for online orders, please email customercare@lechateaucollection.com.au detailing your request and a representative will be in contact within 3 working days. You can also exchange your item at any Le Château Collection store.

The cost of shipping is paid for by the customer. We will credit your original method of payment, excluding delivery (unless the garments are faulty or not as ordered). Include your name, address and phone number. All items are included in good faith on the basis that the goods, as described, will be available at the time of sale. Failure by a supplier to deliver in accordance with the sample description at all, or other unintentional causes, may result in some lines being unavailable.
